The Three Types of Suffering Experienced by Christians

Hebrews 12:5-6: "And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: 'My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, or give up when he corrects you. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.'"

Philippians 3:10: "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death."

1 Peter 4:12-13: "Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed."

Two Periods of the New Testament Ministry: The Ministry of the Spirit VS The Ministry of Righteousness

2 Corinthians 3:8 "How shall not the ministry of the Spirit be more in glory?"

2 Corinthians 3:9 "For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory."

Righteousness Ministry VS Ministry of Justification

2 Corinthians 3:8 How much more shall the ministry of the Spirit be glorious?

2 Corinthians 3:9 For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, the ministry of justification is much more glorious.

Romans 3:24 But being justified freely by his grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.

Becoming a Righteous Person vs. Becoming God's Righteousness

Rom 3:24 "Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus"

Rom 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God"

2 Cor 5:21 "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him"
