神有完整的計畫，要救贖祂的子民進入祂的禧年。逾越節的筵席是神完全救贖的表徵，這完全的救贖是要帶神的選民進入對祂自己完全的享受裏。這享受就是路加福音所題到的禧年，是以賽亞的豫言和利未記二十五章之豫表的應驗。禧年實際上就是藉著神的救贖而有對神的享受。表徵禧年的筵席，首先是舊約逾越節的筵席，然後是新約主的桌子。逾越節的筵席在舊約裏並沒有完全應驗；主的桌子也是一個筵席，乃是來頂替並繼續逾越節的筵席。然而即使這新約的筵席也還沒有完全應驗，乃是到了要來的國度裏才會完全應驗。 |
